Webhook for shortening the survey link

It is possible to shorten the link to your survey. A Webhook is simply a URL called by another IT system or opened in a standard browser.

The URL address format is as follows:

https://app.customerhero.com/webhooks/[id_account]/[webhook_key]/[webhook_auth]/[webhook_name]?id_survey=123456&additional_parameters

Where:

• id_account – ID of your account on the CustomerHero platform.

• webhook_key and webhook_auth – Webhook key and authorization. Parameters are available after logging into the user account in the Account -> Settings -> Integrations tab. After generating the keys, you will receive their values.

• webhook_name – in this case it is shorten-link

• id_survey – ID of the survey whose link we want to shorten

• additional_parameters – additional optional parameters for calling the survey:

  • external_key – external_key parameter passed to the survey (external_key documentation)

  • user_token – external user identifier (user_token documentation)

  • token – system user identifier (CustomerHero tokens documentation)

  • l1, l2, …., l10 – additional respondent attributes. Attributes must be previously defined for the survey to which the invitation is sent.

  • lang - parameter defining the language in a multilingual survey.

    All parameters are optional.

The above Webhook will shorten the link to the following format:

https://survey.customerhero.com/l/4e3/f55400

Parameter value, id_survey = Survey ID from the PROJECTS tab.
